Yes, there is. This is due to limitations imposed by the U.S. Copyright Office. Each file can have a maximum size of 500MB. if your work is larger than this, it will either need to be converted to a smaller file size, or in the case of audiovisual works or sound recordings, split up into multiple files which are each smaller than 500MB.
